Carter’s Ink Company building is built.

Architect: Theodore Clark. Originally the Carter, Dinsmore & Company, it is located at 162 – 172 Columbus Avenue. It subsequently becomes the home of Carter’s Ink Company. When that company moves to Cambridge in 1910, the building is converted initially into office and retail use. Renovated by Payette Associates and Graham, Meus and converted to recreational use in 1980.*
